Paid Early, Still Charged ₱76?
A GLoan/GGives user said they paid 12 days early through a Fuse bill-payment route after losing access to the phone number used for the account. Once the due date passed, overdue notices arrived anyway. Their post blamed a ₱0.05 payment difference for a ₱76 penalty. Five centavos were suddenly causing a much bigger headache. The replies did not agree that all advance payments fail. Another user described being chased over a ₱0.01 shortage, while others said their early payments posted correctly. The difference may depend on the exact amount, payment route and when a transaction is credited; the thread doesn't establish which factor caused this case. The original poster hadn't published a final correction or full account statement. So this is a disputed small balance, not proof that paying GLoan early always triggers fees. What the account actually showed on the due date—and how that five-centavo difference arose—remains unanswered in the thread. Source: Reddit r/utangPH, 18 July 2026; subsequent replies.
