Community Guidelines

Share useful, honest context

• Describe what happened, when it happened, and which part is your own experience.
• Separate verified facts from opinion, expectation, hearsay, or speculation.
• Do not invent approvals, rejections, collections, payments, platform contact, popularity, or borrower experiences.

Protect privacy

• Cover names, faces, phone and account numbers, IDs, addresses, emails, QR codes, barcodes, and other identifying details before adding an image.
• Do not publish passwords, authentication links, one-time codes, private financial documents, or another person’s private messages without a lawful reason and permission.
• Use the Report control or public contact email when existing content creates a privacy or safety risk.

Keep participation safe

• No threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, stalking, doxxing, extortion, or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
• No instructions or offers for fraud, identity theft, account takeover, forged documents, illegal collection tactics, or evasion of lawful obligations.
• Do not pressure another user to disclose personal data or move a sensitive conversation off-platform.

No manipulation or spam

• Do not coordinate fake Helpful actions, duplicate posts, undisclosed promotions, referral spam, paid testimonials, or attacks on a person or platform.
• Disclose a material commercial, employment, referral, or ownership relationship when it is relevant to the content.
• Do not use automation to scrape private data, overload the service, evade limits, or manufacture engagement.

Moderation

BorrowTalk may edit only operational labels or states, request clarification, restrict indexing, hide or remove content, preserve thread tombstones, or limit accounts when needed to apply these Guidelines and the Terms.

Context matters. A report starts a review; it does not automatically determine the outcome.
