A penalty waiver can close some MocaMoca loans while others stay overdue

  • Multiple loans / repayment priority
  • Repayment
  • Interest / fees

One 2026 Android borrower with several MocaMoca loans reported reaching a penalty-waiver agreement through support. The borrower said payment was made immediately and several loans were then closed. That was not the end of the account. Other loans remained overdue, and the borrower said the displayed amount on those loans kept growing. A request to waive penalties on the remaining loans had not received a reply by the time of the post. This is a mixed outcome inside one account: agreement reached, payment made, some loans closed, other loans still open, and a follow-up request unanswered. “MocaMoca settled” would hide the most useful part of the sequence. A strong follow-up should record each loan separately: payment sent, payment posted, loan marked closed, remaining balance, and the date of the last support response. Do not assume that a waiver or closure on one loan applies to every loan on the account. Light public provenance: Reddit. Unverified public self-report; not a BorrowTalk member story.
