A Cashalo amount on screen is not yet an approval
Several public borrower reports describe the same sequence: a loan was repaid, a larger amount appeared in Cashalo, but the next application was later declined. The reported examples include users with multiple prior loans and one recent app reviewer who said the first two loans were paid before a third application was rejected. Another borrower saw a much larger “up to” amount but had not actually applied—so that report stops at the display stage. The useful distinction is: amount shown → amount requested → decision → disbursement. These are separate checkpoints. A displayed amount is not evidence that a new loan is approved, and a previous successful loan does not establish entitlement to another one. The public reports do not reveal why any application was declined. Sources: Reddit · App reviews · Official guidance.
