Home Credit showed PHP108,000 in the app, then quoted PHP56,387 for early repayment

A borrower said they took a PHP70,000 Home Credit cash loan with a 36-month term. After 12 months, the Home Credit app still showed PHP108,000 as outstanding. The borrower contacted Home Credit to ask for a full early-repayment computation. The amount provided was PHP56,387—more than PHP50,000 below the figure displayed in the app. In a later reply in the same thread, the borrower reported paying the quoted amount and said the app then showed the loan as closed. That outcome remains borrower-reported; BorrowTalk did not review the private payment record, account ledger or lender-side calculation.
