Community discussion · Composite borrower case
Calls stopping, system texts continuing and contacts being called are different collection outcomes
Collection discussions often collapse several events into “they stopped” or “they visited,” but the public MocaMoca accounts reviewed here support narrower statements. One borrower said payment coordination and a late-fee discount were already in place when three people described as non-reference contacts were called. Another Android user reported calls, texts and a reference contact during three weeks overdue, followed by communication through email while negotiation continued. A separate borrower said calls and emails stopped after repeated outreach, while automated payment texts continued. An approved-plan account reproduced a promise that calls and collector assignment would pause while the agreement remained active. The public thread did not independently confirm every channel or show later payment performance. At the other end, one commenter reported seven months overdue with no recent contact as of that date. Another posted a warning mentioning possible visits and legal action, but no later visit or case was reported. No safely attributable, official-Android MocaMoca home-visit outcome was found in this review. That is an evidence gap—not proof that visits never happen. A warning, a call to a reference, a call to someone else, a system text, a letter and an in-person visit must stay separate. MocaMoca says its authorized app is only on Google Play. Current SEC status also does not erase a borrower’s right to complain about alleged unfair conduct. If contact changed later, report the channel and observation window without phone numbers, addresses, workplaces, names or screenshots that identify anyone.
