MoneyCat settlement was one day late, and the account stayed active

A borrower using the MoneyCat loan app said a PHP18,340 settlement was due on June 5. The borrower paid PHP10,000 on June 2, then paid the remaining PHP8,340 on June 6. The public post says the second payment was one day late. ## The settlement was treated as invalid After the two payments, the borrower reproduced an email attributed to MoneyCat saying the agreement had been invalidated and the account remained active under its original overdue status. A new offer asked for PHP14,960 by June 15. This is one borrower's account of a settlement problem, not a general finding about loan apps.
