After about a year overdue, a BillEase borrower says the balance was paid after a penalty waiver

A borrower said a BillEase account had been overdue for about a year before the balance was finally paid. In the Reddit post, the borrower listed ₱21,000 as principal, ₱14,000 as overdue, ₱34,000 as the total to pay, and ₱30,468 as the amount paid after a reported penalty waiver. Those figures do not fully reconcile, so BorrowTalk is preserving them as reported rather than inferring a corrected total. The same borrower said there had been three house visits while the account was overdue. In this person's experience, they said BillEase did not harass them or call their contacts. That is one borrower's report, not a general statement about BillEase collection practices. After saying the balance had been fully paid, the borrower said they requested that the account be closed.
