A borrower paid the Home Credit balance in the app after a family payment did not appear
A borrower found an old Home Credit account linked to their details after opening a new account. Relatives had used those details for a school-related purchase and, according to the borrower, had not kept up the payments. Collection emails then reached the borrower. Home Credit customer service told the borrower that the terminated account should be discussed with the assigned field officer. The borrower wanted to settle directly with Home Credit and obtain a certificate showing the account was fully paid, without further contact about the debt. In an update to the same post, the borrower said an initial payment of half the amount made by their mother did not appear on the account. The borrower then paid the full amount shown in the Home Credit app instead. The post does not show that a certificate was issued or that the earlier family payment was traced or refunded.
