A Promise to Pay may cover one date, not every future due date

  • Repayment
  • Overdue

Borrowers describe Promise to Pay arrangements that appear for a specific date rather than becoming a permanent schedule. One borrower paid the August arrangement and expected a September date to appear automatically, while another said they requested a new PTP each month and saw it only after the account became overdue. BillEase’s general guidance also describes extensions as something that may be offered case by case. Treat each displayed arrangement as its own checkpoint unless the account itself confirms a longer schedule. Sources: Reddit borrower reports; Official guidance.
