₱16,800 Received, ₱28,000 Due in 7 Days?
A borrower on r/utangPH said they opened Garden Credit just to check whether the app was legitimate and what limit it might offer. Instead, the application allegedly proceeded to a loan. The post says only ₱16,800 reached the account while ₱28,000 was due after seven days. That's a very different amount from what the person expected to receive. Other people in the thread reported similar surprises. One described three ₱3,500 loans with only ₱2,100 received for each and said cancellation requests went unanswered. Another commenter asked whether the terms had been shown before the transaction. These are individual reports, not independent findings against the app. The original poster had not shown a signed agreement, itemized fees or a final resolution. Calling it a proven scam would go beyond the evidence. But the question remains concrete: how did checking a limit become money received and a much larger amount due within one week?
