Paying ahead does not automatically cancel the next payroll file

  • Repayment
  • Complaint / dispute

Public reports include borrowers who paid an installment ahead but later still saw a salary deduction, or whose final pay had been deducted while the Tendo account continued to show an amount due. In several cases the later allocation or refund outcome was never posted, so the reports do not prove permanent double charging. They do identify a real reconciliation risk between a user-initiated payment, the employer's already-prepared payroll file, employer remittance, and the platform's posting time. Current terms allow advance or supplemental repayment before payroll cut-off and warn that employer processing or remittance delays do not remove the borrower's obligation. Before paying ahead, confirm the relevant cut-off and payment allocation through the official channel. After any overlap, preserve both payment references and the payslip, then ask for a written account ledger or allocation result rather than assuming the second debit automatically covers the next installment.
