Paid a Maya Black mini-payment early, but the app and SOA did not agree
A PH cardholder converted a purchase into Maya Black mini-payments. They said their available credit fell from PHP10,000 to PHP3,000, and they paid what they understood to be the full balance because they needed room for groceries and daily expenses. The app still showed an active installment. The cardholder said support told them they had overpaid, yet the overpayment was not visible in the app. The app showed a PHP10,000 credit limit, while a representative cited PHP13,000 in available credit. Several calls left the cardholder without a clear explanation. In replies on the same thread, the cardholder said a later statement showed the overpayment as a negative amount and that the mini-payments had remained pending for almost a month before posting. They still described the issue as unresolved while waiting to see the next amount due. The statement credit was a change in what they could see, not confirmation that the installment had been cancelled or the account closed.
