A paid Home Credit loan and its credit-report status are separate records

  • Repayment
  • Complaint / dispute

Paying or completing a Home Credit loan does not by itself prove what a later external credit report will display. One borrower reported Home Credit loans paid in 2020 still appearing unpaid in a later CIBI report; another said a paid 2021 cash loan still appeared active. Elsewhere, borrowers reported Home Credit missing from a report or the app showing “completed” without publishing a matching report result. These accounts do not prove which record is correct, a universal update timetable, or why any later credit application was decided. Home Credit’s terms distinguish full payment from requesting a Certificate of Full Payment, while the CIC provides a dispute process for erroneous, incomplete or outdated balance and payment-status data. Receipt, app completion, certificate and external credit report should therefore be checked as separate records. Light provenance: Reddit borrower reports + Home Credit terms + official CIC guidance.
