A home visit brought a next-day down-payment deadline on a PHP 101,000 card balance
One borrower said a field agent arrived at the home with a demand letter showing a PHP 101,000 outstanding credit-card balance. During the visit, the agent put the borrower on the phone with a representative said to be handling the account. According to the borrower, two payment paths were presented. One was a one-time payment of more than PHP 70,000. The other was an application for installments, but it required a PHP 11,000 down payment immediately or by the next day. The borrower did not have PHP 11,000 available on that timetable and asked whether the down payment could be moved to a later salary date. The borrower said the representative refused because the account would be blacklisted by an earlier date unless the installment request was filed. The borrower also reported being told that, if neither option was chosen, the full PHP 101,000 would need to be settled within five days or legal action would follow. Those figures, deadlines and consequences are the borrower's account of what the collection representative said. The public post does not include the account ledger, a written settlement offer, the proposed installment contract or an independent bank response. BorrowTalk therefore does not verify the balance calculation, whether either option was formally approved, whether the down payment would reduce the balance, or whether the reported legal and blacklist warnings were accurate. Other borrowers commented on similar collection experiences, but their stories are not treated as continuation or corroboration of this borrower's event. No material comment fact is used. A second later-outcome search immediately before this payload was finalized found no deterministic same-author update showing a payment, new arrangement, legal filing or further visit. Where the story stood The borrower had received an actual home visit and was deciding between a reduced lump sum and an installment request whose down payment was due before the next available salary date. The payment and account outcome remain unavailable in the traceable public record.
