After a damaged SIM and a rejected upgrade application, a Maya user created a new account. In a September 2026 Trustpilot review, the user described trying to move the remaining balance and savings from the old upgraded account and retain existing information. Another issue stood in the way: a Maya loan the borrower said was already paid still appeared unpaid and prevented the new account from being upgraded. The user had raised it with Support but reported repeated follow-ups without meaningful updates. Correcting the loan record, upgrading the new account and moving the old funds were separate requests.
