A posted partial payment is not the same as a formal installment plan

One borrower contacted Cashalo before expecting to miss full payment and reported being directed to an in-app Promise to Pay flow. The borrower said support did not offer an installment plan but allowed smaller payments toward the balance; a payment reflected immediately, and a later same-account update said it reduced the loan balance. Overdue email reminders reportedly continued. Another borrower separately said restructuring was not offered and later paid in full. Cashalo's official online repayment portal currently accepts payments from PHP 50 plus the applicable bank service fee. That supports the technical ability to submit a smaller payment, but it does not by itself create a revised schedule, pause collection, waive fees, or settle the account.
