A PHP 180,000 Revi balance was settled for about PHP 47,000, then the account was closed
One borrower reported that a CIMB Revi principal of about PHP 89,000 had reached roughly PHP 180,000 after around four years overdue. The borrower attributed the increase to interest and penalties. According to the post, MBA Consulting replied through a company email and offered about PHP 47,000 as full settlement. Before paying, the borrower asked for confirmation that the remaining balance would be waived, the account would show zero and a certificate of full payment would follow. The borrower said the payment was made directly to the actual Revi account number, then the receipt was emailed while CIMB customer service was copied. The payment was acknowledged. These details remain the borrower's report. BorrowTalk has not authenticated the email, reviewed the account ledger or payment receipt, or independently confirmed how the balance and discount were calculated. What happened next The borrower later updated the original post to say the Revi credit had been fully paid and the account was closed. A same-author comment on a crosspost repeats that outcome. Those posts and the comment are one borrower source unit, not independent corroboration. The public material does not show whether a certificate of full payment was issued or what later appeared in the borrower's credit record.
