Paid the PTP, balance cleared — borrowing again was another step

  • Repayment
  • Interest / fees
  • Approval / rejection

One BillEase borrower said an outstanding balance was still visible shortly after paying a Promise to Pay amount. Later in the same January 31, 2026 exchange, the same person said the balance had disappeared. They did not say whether BillEase separately confirmed closure or whether they could borrow again. Another borrower’s November 2025 updates went further: they reported an individual discount offer, payment and waiver, then being asked to submit documents again — followed by a rejected application. That was a different borrower, and the old offer should not be read as a current promotion. BillEase’s current Credit Line FAQ says a Promise to Pay records an intended payment date and does not stop delinquency interest for that product. The borrower posts do not consistently identify their product type, so the FAQ cannot settle either account’s exact terms. What the stories do show is that payment, the balance shown in the app, account closure and a new lending decision can be separate steps. After your PTP payment, what changed later? Did the balance stay, disappear or reappear? Was closure confirmed separately, and did borrowing access change? Please omit personal account details.
