A new GCredit due after payoff needs a transaction-and-statement check

  • Interest / fees
  • Repayment
  • Complaint / dispute

Some borrowers report receiving new GCredit due notices after they believed the facility had already been fully paid and unused. Those reports are allegations or account-state disputes, not proof of an incorrect charge. GCredit interest is calculated from transaction timing and current terms also rely on the Statement of Account. The useful comparison is transaction date, payment date, payment posting, statement generation, charge label and later provider finding—not the borrower’s memory of “already paid” by itself.
