Paying GCredit does not lock in the same future limit

  • Approval / rejection
  • Interest / fees
  • Repayment

GCredit limit changes reported by borrowers do not follow one simple repayment rule. A recent borrower said the remaining limit disappeared after the first monthly payment. Another account reported a lower limit followed by a suspension message even though the borrower believed current dues were clear. These self-reports do not establish why the limit changed. Current CIMB terms give the bank discretion to increase or decrease the limit, so prior limit, current limit, utilization, payment posting and account status should be recorded separately.
