My Partner Used My GCash for GLoan—Why Am I Getting the Calls?

  • Complaint / dispute
  • Collections

Money came off a GCash balance after a cash-in. Then the overdue GLoan calls started. In an August public post, the account holder said their partner had borrowed through the wallet without permission. They couldn't remember receiving an OTP. The calls were coming to them, while the partner wasn't being chased.

The replies argued over whose name was on the loan. Yet the post included no loan agreement, approval trail or result from an investigation. GCash advises users who spot transactions they didn't authorise to change their MPIN and report them through official Help. Getting a support ticket doesn't mean a disputed loan has been cancelled.

For a case like this, the useful trail is the loan notice, wallet history, where the borrowed money went, and any collection or support messages. Did GCash/Fuse investigate the loan as unauthorised, or is the account holder still being pursued because it sits under their name? The public thread never shared that outcome.
