Paid GLoan on Time—Why Is There a Penalty?
You sent the payment before the deadline, but a penalty is still sitting in GLoan. Start with the transaction record: a receipt showing when you sent money and a loan screen showing when it was credited answer different questions.
GCash’s help page says payment through the GLoan dashboard is processed in real time, while Pay Bills and payment partners can take three business days. It also says a payment made before the due date should not attract a penalty. That makes the channel, transaction timestamp and posting status important evidence—not a reason to assume every disputed fee is valid or automatically waived.
In the GCash app, open Transactions, choose the GLoan payment and tap Get Help. Select the issue about paying on time but being charged a fee. Attach the receipt, due date and disputed charge, and ask which payment date was used. The stated processing window is not an extra three-day grace period. Keep the original reference before making a second payment just to clear an uncertain screen. Was your issue delayed posting, or a fee that stayed after the payment appeared?
