A zero GCredit dashboard, a shrinking SOA balance and silence after payment are three checkpoints

  • Repayment
  • Interest / fees
  • Complaint / dispute

A 2026 borrower said the GCredit dashboard showed zero while statement and collection messages referred to a much larger outstanding amount. The borrower sent proof of payment and continued seeking an explanation, but there was no formal correction at that point. In a later update, the same borrower said the latest Statement of Account had fallen to a small remaining amount even though the dashboard still did not show it as payable. The borrower then reported paying that small amount. By the next public update, the borrower said no new spam or collection messages had arrived. That is a bounded contact checkpoint—not proof of a corrected statement, refund, written zero balance, closure or restored GCredit access. Official guidance says the monthly SOA contains the billing details, distinguishes minimum amount due from total amount due, and notes that remaining unpaid amounts can continue to incur interest. It also says posting time depends on the payment channel and that collection contact may continue briefly after a payment is posted. A useful follow-up keeps dashboard balance, SOA balance, minimum due, total due, payment debit, payment posting, next SOA, contact after posting and written account status separate. Silence after payment is useful evidence, but it is not a substitute for a corrected statement or closure record. Light public provenance: Reddit · Official guidance. Unverified public self-report; no formal correction or refund claimed.
