Tendo runs the platform; Tonik grants current Tendo loans

  • Application / borrowing
  • Approval / rejection

“Tendo,” “Tendo by Tonik,” and the older name “TendoPay” can appear in the same borrower history, but they should not be treated as three unrelated lenders. Current official terms say Templetech Finance Corp. operates the Tendo platform and owns the Tendo/Tendo by Tonik brands. For loans applied for through that platform from June 1, 2025, Tonik Digital Bank is the institution that assesses the application, decides it, provides the funds, owns the loan, and handles collection under Tonik loan documents. That boundary matters when reading older discussions. A pre-June 2025 TendoPay approval or collection experience belongs to the Platform's history, but it does not prove how a current Tonik-funded application will be decided or timed. It also means an employer's partnership can give an employee access to the Tendo application without guaranteeing a particular credit limit, approval, or payout.
