A Home Credit borrower said their account was terminated after 91 days overdue. Financial difficulty had kept them from paying the full overdue amount, although they had been making smaller payments. When they contacted Home Credit customer service, they said they were asked to pay about PHP100,000 in full, which they could not manage at once. The borrower later reported speaking with a Home Credit field officer. According to the update, they agreed the borrower would pay PHP1,500 on the 15th and 30th of each month, with the possibility of a discounted full settlement later. That future discount was the borrower's account of the conversation, not a confirmed written offer. The borrower then asked whether the arrangement was safe without an agreement in writing or by email. The public thread does not show a written confirmation, a completed settlement or a later account statement.
