A cancellation request did not stop one pending MocaMoca disbursement
One borrower said a MocaMoca application was already pending disbursement when the loan was no longer needed. The borrower contacted support to cancel it, but reported receiving no reply before the funds were processed anyway. A later edit said the issue had been resolved. It did not say whether the funds were returned, a transaction was reversed, a payment was made, fees changed, or the account was closed. Those endings must remain unknown. The official app listing reviewed for this handoff tells users to study the disclosure statement before proceeding and provides app and email support channels, but it does not establish a universal cancellation window in the public text reviewed here. This sequence should be recorded as separate events: cancellation requested, response received or not received, disbursement completed, funds returned or repaid, balance updated, and account state. “Resolved” alone cannot fill in the missing financial steps. Light public provenance: Reddit · Official app guidance. Unverified public self-report; no universal cancellation policy inferred.
