After loan-app harassment, a borrower reported complaints and gradual payoffs
A PH borrower described online loans spread across more than 20 loan apps by January 2026. Taking new loans to cover old ones had left her deeper in debt. She said harassing calls and messages began in April, and that she reported several lenders to the SEC and CICC. She also put her phone on Do Not Disturb because the contacts were difficult to manage. In July, she stopped borrowing to cover other loans. She said she was paying balances gradually and removing apps after clearing particular accounts. In a later reply, she said she had fully paid some of the accounts whose collectors had been especially aggressive, while other loans remained overdue and were being paid bit by bit. Asked whether those collectors still contacted her after full payment, she said they did not. In another reply she reported receiving a photo of her ID through Viber and messages threatening a field visit, but said no visit had happened at that point. The public thread does not identify every sender, show the result of her SEC or CICC reports, or establish that all her loans were settled. The change in contact after payment is her reported experience, not proof that a complaint caused it.
