After the payment arrangement ended and the balance was paid, the card was reinstated
One borrower had a credit-card account that was already under a payment arrangement and had been endorsed to a collection agency. The borrower later chose to end the arrangement early. According to the source, that request was made in November and took effect in December. The borrower then paid the remaining amount in full in March. Payment did not answer the next question immediately: whether the card account would stay closed or could be restored after the collection endorsement and the ended arrangement. The borrower called RCBC customer service for clarification. According to the borrower, the representative explained that after payment the decision about reactivation would be with RCBC. A service ticket was opened, and the borrower was asked to wait three days for the result. The source does not show the original balance, the arrangement contract, the amount paid or a separate settlement document from the collection agency. It also does not establish what appeared on any external credit report during or after this process. A later update from the same author provided the outcome. The borrower reported that the credit card was reinstated. The borrower planned to keep it locked for the time being and use it only for an emergency. Where the story ended This individual moved from an early-ended payment arrangement and full payment to a bank review and reported card reinstatement. The result does not prove that full payment automatically restores every card, that collection history disappears or that RCBC uses the same criteria and timeline in another case.
