A borrower on r/utangPH said their SLoan had been overdue for about a year. Four collection agencies had handled the account, they claimed, and a 40% discount was eventually offered. But even with that reduction, the amount was still more than they could pay at once. Instead, the poster said they were putting around ₱2,000–₱3,000 toward the balance each month while trying to finish other loans. Earlier collection calls had been intense, according to the same person. They also described a separate BillEase account with penalties they believed were ₱50 a day.
