A settlement quote, a payment and a closed account are three different checkpoints

Several overdue borrowers reported discounted settlement offers, but many public threads stop before payment. In the strongest follow-up, one borrower reported receiving a written Home Credit settlement, paying it, briefly continuing to receive collector demands, then receiving a Certificate of Full Payment and seeing the account marked paid in the app. The useful distinction is the furthest checkpoint actually shown: offer, agreed terms, payment, posting, or closure.
