Community discussion · Composite borrower case
Employer access, approval, and funds received are separate checkpoints
Public reports show very different application states. In older, pre-transition replies, one applicant said approval took two days and borrowing was immediately available, while another was still under review after ten business days. A post-transition app reviewer described delayed OTP delivery and then no funds after 24 hours, with no final outcome captured. A recent discussion also contained an applicant still waiting beyond five business days, but that question had no later result. These accounts should not be averaged into a promised processing time, especially because the lender boundary changed in June 2025. The useful sequence is: employer/platform eligibility → identity and employment verification → application submitted → lender decision → disbursement initiated → funds received. A company benefit, displayed credit, approval screen, or pending disbursement does not prove every later checkpoint has completed. Sources: Reddit · App reviews · Official guidance.
