A two-week overdue period ended in payment, with no reported visit or demand letter

A borrower posted after realizing a Cashalo payment was already due and said the full amount could not be paid that day. The original question focused on what might happen next, including social posting. Several months later, the same account answered a follow-up: the borrower said the debt had been paid after about two weeks and reported receiving neither a demand letter nor a home visit. The later reply supplies an actual ending that the initial question did not. It still supports only a narrow result: one borrower missed the due date, paid after an approximately two-week delay, and did not observe the two specific collection events asked about. It does not show whether reminders, calls, interest or penalties occurred, and it cannot predict another account’s experience. Do not turn the elapsed time into a grace period or a safe waiting strategy. “No visit reported” is also not a company-wide policy. The useful record is the sequence itself—missed due date, later payment, and the borrower’s bounded report about what did not happen before resolution. Light public provenance: Reddit. Same-account public follow-up, not an independently verified payment history.
