A PHP 373,040 balance came with a 48-month PHP 503,798 restructuring offer, but the borrower did not proceed
One borrower published a restructuring offer for a Security Bank balance reported at PHP 373,040.32. The quoted schedule listed PHP 10,495.80 a month for 48 months, an add-on monthly rate of 1.30%, a total RPS value of PHP 503,798.51 and stated interest of PHP 130,758.19. In same-author replies, the borrower said the account had been overdue for one month and there were only three days to decide. The 48-month term initially looked closest to a manageable monthly payment, but the stated interest and four-year commitment made the decision difficult. These figures are the borrower's transcription of the offer. BorrowTalk has not reviewed the contract, statement or bank calculation and cannot confirm whether every term, fee, rebate or condition was captured in the public post. When another reader later asked for an update, the same borrower replied on 5 January 2026 that the plan had not been pursued. The public record does not show a replacement arrangement, a payment made under this proposal or the later account balance. Where the story stood The borrower reported receiving a quantified 48-month option after one month overdue, having a short time to decide and later not proceeding. The evidence supports the offer and that decision, not a claim that this was the only available option or that the balance was independently verified.
