Paid off, then what? Tala borrowers reported different access afterward

  • Repayment
  • Overdue
  • Approval / rejection

Three Tala borrowers described very different outcomes after dealing with overdue debt in November 2025. One reported payment and a cleared balance after an in-app offer, while a ₱25,000 limit still appeared. Their next-day update did not show a new approved loan or cash received. Another borrower reported being able to borrow again, but at ₱7,000 rather than ₱15,000. A third reported receiving a zero-outstanding-balance email after settlement and then being rejected when they reapplied. Those are separate people and separate endpoints. Tala’s reapplication guide still includes a new decision before cash-out. A visible limit is not the same as available cash, and clearing a balance does not guarantee the next application will be approved. The posts do not explain why these outcomes differed or what happened in later months. If you cleared a Tala balance, what happened next — did you only see a limit, submit an application, receive a decision, or actually receive funds? Share the outcome without personal records or account details.
