Four Maya Loan Payments. Three Installments Marked Paid. Where Did the Fourth Go?
Four payments. Three installments marked paid. And a November bill that would not budge. That is what a Maya Personal Loan borrower described on r/MayaPh on 8 October 2026. Their loan was supposed to run for nine installments. They listed payments on 9 August, 2 September, 1 October and 5 October. They said the total amount paid looked correct in the app, but only three installments showed as completed. November still carried a “due soon” label. The borrower expected that fourth payment to push the next scheduled installment to December. The 5 October payment had a purpose. The borrower believed interest was growing daily and wanted to pay ahead. So here is the question that matters: if the paid total looked right, why did the repayment schedule still leave the borrower guessing about that fourth payment? Was it applied to the outstanding loan balance? Was it intended for November but not counted as a completed installment? Was there a posting or display problem? These are questions, not findings. The public post does not include the account's payment-allocation ledger, and the borrower said customer support had not responded at the time. Another commenter later said Maya support told them their own extra payment reduced principal while the remaining monthly installments still had to be paid. That is a different borrower's account of a support conversation. It does not settle what happened to the original poster's 5 October payment. In the original poster's later reply, the answer was still unclear. Paying early should not turn a loan dashboard into a guessing game. A borrower needs more than a receipt and a count of paid installments. They need to see where each payment went, what balance changed, and whether the next contractual due date or amount changed at all. Do not assume November is already covered because you paid early. Keep all four payment receipts, and ask Maya promptly for an itemized written breakdown: where the 5 October money was applied, what balance changed, and the actual November amount due. Verify the required payment before the deadline through an official Maya channel. Until the records are reconciled, the public thread proves neither missing money nor a settled November bill. Have you paid a Maya Personal Loan installment early and found the due-month counter unchanged? What did your final statement or support reply show?
