“Active” on one side did not restore a missing GCredit dashboard before closure

One borrower reported that the GCredit dashboard disappeared after an unexpected account-verification message, even though a balance was still due. The borrower said CIMB separately described the GCredit facility as active and not permanently closed at that time. The same borrower returned with a later checkpoint: the dashboard had not come back. After paying the full amount, the borrower chose to close GCredit and reported that the GCredit option was no longer present. This sequence has more than one account state. “Active” in a provider response did not mean the dashboard was visible or the facility was usable. Full payment was also followed by a borrower-requested closure, not a demonstrated reactivation. Current GCash guidance separately describes deactivation and permanent closure. It says a permanently closed GCredit facility cannot be used for future transactions, while a remaining balance can still be paid. For a useful timeline, record dashboard present or missing, provider-described status, payment posted, reactivation confirmed, closure requested, closure completed and GCredit option present or absent as separate checkpoints.
