Maya Easy Credit Payment Not Posted? Deducted Is Not Settled

Your Maya Wallet already dropped, but Easy Credit still shows a balance? Maya Easy Credit payment not posted is a posting problem, not proof you still need to pay twice. Separate Paid, Posted, Settled, Closed, and credit-report updates before you send another amount.

Maya Easy Credit payment not posted means the ledger has not caught up, even if your Wallet already moved. In a July 2026 case summarized from borrower reports, a borrower paid early through Maya Wallet on 1 July; the next day the money had not bounced back, yet Easy Credit still had not updated. That thread never showed a later fix, so treat it as a warning pattern, not a finished playbook.

Maya's own materials separate channels. Current borrow-page guidance says Maya Center payments may take up to three business days to post when you give the 12-digit account number and amount due. In-app Credit payments are described as confirming in the app with a receipt. Those timings are channel rules, not a diagnosis of one stuck ticket.

Maya Easy Credit payment not posted: name the five states

  1. Paid: Wallet, bills pay, or Maya Center cash-out left your side.
  2. Posted: Easy Credit balance and Total Amount Due moved.
  3. Settled: amount due is zero.
  4. Closed: the credit line is turned off in writing if you requested closure.
  5. Credit report updated: bureau reporting follows later.

A support chat that says "received" is helpful, but it is not the same as Posted. A collector certificate is not the same as Closed inside Maya.

Maya Center payment posting time vs in-app

Use the channel you actually paid:

  • In-app Pay now / Bills: keep the SMS or in-app receipt, then refresh Easy Credit the same day.
  • Maya Center: keep the agent stub with account number and amount; expect up to three business days before you call it late.
  • Auto-debit: Maya's Easy Credit terms language on the product page describes debiting nominated Maya accounts for amounts due. If a debit failed for insufficient balance, that is not a successful Paid event.

If the wrong channel clock has not finished, wait it out with proof ready. If it has finished and the balance is unchanged, open Help in the app or use the hotline Maya publishes for account-status questions, and ask for a ledger correction, not a second payment.

Maya Easy Credit settlement certificate vs app balance

A late-August 2026 public account described paying a third-party collector on 26 June, receiving a certificate of full payment dated 30 June, then still seeing an Easy Credit balance on 23 July and another statement on 28 August. Even when the collector later said they no longer had an active record, that did not prove Maya's in-app balance or bureau reporting had cleared.

So if you hold a Maya Easy Credit settlement certificate:

  1. Match the certificate amount to the in-app Total Amount Due.
  2. Ask Maya in writing to Post the settlement against Easy Credit.
  3. Do not assume Closed until the line status says so.
  4. Keep the certificate, receipt, and new statements together.

Close Maya Easy Credit after paying

Borrowers separately report that finding a clean closure path for an unused or fully paid Easy Credit line can be confusing. Those posts do not create a legal right or a published SLA. What you can do is ask Help for written confirmation that the facility is Settled and whether closure is available, then save the reply. Paying stops growth of penalties; closure is a different request.

If collection agencies contact you while a payment is mid-post, verify the agency before paying again. Maya's borrow page notes overdue accounts may be endorsed to partner agencies.

What not to do while posting is pending

  • Do not send a second full payment "just in case" without a ticket saying the first failed.
  • Do not pay a personal account that only a caller provided.
  • Do not treat a collector SMS as proof the Maya ledger moved.

Ticket wording that usually helps

When you message Help, lead with facts:

"Paid Easy Credit via [Wallet / Maya Center] on [date] for [amount], reference [ID]. Wallet shows Paid. Easy Credit still shows [balance]. Please confirm whether the payment Posted and attach the ledger note. I am not sending a second payment until this reference is checked."

Attach screenshots of Wallet history and the Easy Credit screen taken the same day. Vague messages like "please fix my account" get slower replies.

FAQ

Why is my Maya Easy Credit payment not posted after Wallet deduction?

Paid and Posted are different clocks. Confirm the channel, wait for the published window (especially Maya Center's up to three business days), then ticket for ledger correction with receipts.

Maya Easy Credit deducted but unpaid on screen. Pay again?

Not until Maya says the first payment failed or was reversed. Ask which reference they see.

How long is Maya Center payment posting time?

Maya's borrow page says to expect posting within three business days for Maya Center payments.

Does a Maya Easy Credit settlement certificate close the line?

No. It is evidence of payment to whoever issued it. You still need Posted/Settled in Maya, and a separate closure confirmation if you want Closed.
