Does GLoan Automatically Deduct From GCash? What Actually Happens
GLoan can take an unpaid amount straight from your GCash wallet after the due date, and you can't switch that off. Here's when it happens, what gets paid first, and what to do about a double deduction.
Yes, GLoan automatically deducts from your GCash wallet, but only after the due date passes unpaid. That's how GCash's help pages describe it, and you'll get an SMS after each deduction. You can't turn this off. It's a backup collection method, not autopay on the due date itself, so paying on time yourself is still the cleaner way to do it.
What follows is based on GCash's help pages and the GLoan terms checked on October 30, 2026, plus what borrowers have been running into.
Does GLoan automatically deduct in GCash before the due date?
Based on the help article, no. The deduction is described as kicking in when an amount is still unpaid by the due date. Before that, nothing is taken automatically. You pay through the GLoan dashboard or another channel.
After a missed due date, the GLoan terms say the lender (Fuse Financing, Inc., the financing company behind GLoan) may try an auto-debit daily. The terms also say this can reach other e-wallets registered under your name, not just the one you're looking at. So if you have a second GCash account under the same name, expect it to be in scope.
GCash also says auto-deduction can't be disabled. Keeping your wallet empty doesn't change what you owe. We read the terms this way: if your wallet is empty, the auto-debit has nothing to take, and late charges keep applying until you pay.
What the deduction pays first
This part surprises people. Per the terms, money applied to your GLoan goes in this order:
- fees
- penalties
- interest
- principal
So if you were late and a deduction hits, it may clear the penalty first, before it touches the installment itself. The screen can still show something due after a deduction, and that's not necessarily an error. Check the breakdown in the loan details before assuming the system lost your money.
GLoan double deduction: bayad na, na-deduct pa rin
This usually happens one of two ways. You pay manually on or near the due date and then see a GLoan auto-deduction too, or the auto-debit runs while your own GLoan payment is still posting.
What GCash says about GLoan excess charges, as of October 30, 2026:
- If GLoan took more than it should (for example a double auto-debit), the excess on that GLoan charge is reversed within 1 business day.
- If that doesn't happen, go to Transactions, open the GLoan deduction, tap Get Help and choose "I was charged more than once".
- Separately, the GLoan terms say a GLoan overpayment can be applied to your next GLoan installment, or returned if you ask through a support ticket.
These steps are for GLoan loan charges only. They are not the general GCash wallet refund path for Send Money, Pay Bills to other billers, GCredit, or other products. Use the help option that matches that transaction type.
So for a GLoan double pull you might see either a reversal to the wallet or a credit toward the next GLoan installment. If you'd rather have the money back in the wallet than leave it as GLoan credit, say that explicitly in the ticket.
GLoan payment not posted yet, then deducted again
GCash's GLoan help page lists posting times by channel: GLoan dashboard, real-time; Pay Bills (biller: Fuse Financing, Inc.), up to 3 business days; payment partners, up to 3 business days.
If a Pay Bills payment still hasn't posted after 3 business days, GCash's fix is: Transactions, open the GLoan payment, Get Help, choose "My payment hasn't been posted", and enter Fuse Financing, Inc. as the biller. Support follows up within 1 to 2 business days.
That gap matters. If you pay through a partner on the due date and it posts two days later, the system may think you're late in between. GCash's help page says that if you paid before the due date, you shouldn't be charged a penalty or extra fee, and it admits a payment made on the due date may only be processed a few days later. If you were charged anyway: Transactions, your GLoan payment, Get Help, "I paid on time but I was charged a fee." GCash says support replies within 1 to 2 business days. To be safe, pay through the GLoan dashboard, or at least 3 business days early if you use Pay Bills or a partner. What to keep for every payment:
- the receipt with reference number and timestamp
- a screenshot of the GLoan screen before and after
- the SMS from any auto-deduction

When you can't pay this cycle
If you can't cover the installment, the auto-deduction won't save you from penalties, and an overdue GLoan blocks you from taking a new one. GCash's help page says an overdue GLoan, GGives, GCredit or Borrow Load balance stops a new GLoan application. Some people try to take a fresh loan to pay the old one. With GCash's own products, that door is usually closed while anything is overdue.
What tends to help more is contacting support (in-app or the 2882 hotline) before the due date, asking what your options are, and getting the answer in writing. That's the one record worth having. We haven't seen an official GLoan restructuring program described on the help pages, so don't count on one.

FAQ
Can I stop GLoan auto deduct?
No. GCash says auto-deduction can't be turned off. It only applies after an amount goes unpaid past the due date.
Why did GLoan deduct even though I already paid?
Usually timing. If your payment went through a partner channel, it may not have posted yet when the auto-debit ran. Check both transactions, then use Get Help on the deduction and choose "I was charged more than once".
How long does a GLoan excess-charge reversal take?
For a GLoan auto-debit or payment that overcharged the loan, GCash says the excess is reversed within 1 business day. If not, open that GLoan transaction, tap Get Help, and choose "I was charged more than once". The GLoan terms also allow the excess to be applied to your next GLoan installment instead, so say which you want. This is not a promise about refunds on unrelated GCash wallet transactions.
Will GLoan deduct from my other wallet?
The terms say auto-debit may reach other e-wallets registered under your name. Check the current terms in the app for the exact wording.
GLoan charged a penalty even though I paid on time?
GCash says a payment made before the due date shouldn't be penalized. Go to Transactions, open the GLoan payment, tap Get Help and choose "I paid on time but I was charged a fee." Support replies within 1 to 2 business days. The lender behind GLoan is Fuse Financing, Inc.
